If you are looking for an hourly in-home caregiver you have come to the perfect place. CareNetLA offers 24-hour service to all of our customers but this specific in-home care service makes sure your caregiver is not sleeping at your residence and is alert at all times. We provide two hourly shift options to our customers.
Two 12-Hour Shifts Per Day
With our two 12-hour shift option, you will have 2 caregivers per day, one at night and one during the day. This means that you will have 4 caregivers total during the week.
- Pros: Highest Quality of Care. You will have a caregiver attentively focused on your needs 24/7. There is no sleeping allowed, so a caregiver will always be alert and ready to help.
- Cons: Highest Cost. This plan has the most overtime pay to caregivers, and we need to charge more to you when we pay OT.
Three 8-Hour Shifts Per Day
Under this plan, you will have 3 caregivers per day each working an 8 hour shift.
- Pros: You still receive attentive care around the clock at a slightly lower cost because the 8 hour shift has zero overtime expense.
- Cons: You will have more caregivers working for you and it may be harder to build a close personal relationship. There will be 3 caregivers each day and usually around 5 or 6 per week.

What does the initial evaluation consist of and how much does it cost?
The initial evaluation is typically done by our registered nurse. It is strictly a question and answers session, where the nurse gets to know you and your family, and can answer any questions you may have. The evaluation will help us to determine how we can best help you and whom the best match for a caregiver might be. In addition to the regular evaluation, if you would like, the nurse will walk around and make recommendations on how to make your home safer and more user-friendly. There is no charge for the evaluation and it can be scheduled for a time that is mutually convenient for all the parties involved.
What are your office hours?
Our normal office hours are from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. However, we understand that there are often good reasons for you to contact us after those hours. Please be assured that we can be reached 24/7 and in an emergency, we will be there for you.
